VICTIMS INFORMATION
Copies of Reports: Copies of approved releasable reports may be obtained from the La Verne Police Department's Records Bureau. The Officer who took your report should have provided you with a report number. The number starts with the year followed by four numbers - example: 2007-0000. Copies are normally available Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Refer to Records Bureau regarding release of reports.
Additional Information: If you can provide additional information regarding your case, please contact the Detective Bureau Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Have your report number available.
Property and Evidence Release: If you need information on how to recover property or evidence stored at the La Verne Police Department, you must phone the Property and Evidence Officer, in the Detective Bureau, Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM to schedule an appointment.
Stolen Vehicles: If your vehicle is recovered, you will be notified on how to regain possession of your vehicle from the agency that made the recovery. If you recover your own vehicle or know the whereabouts of the vehicle, notify the La Verne Police Department immediately. When your vehicle is stolen, the license number is entered as a stolen vehicle through the Department of Motor Vehicles, and anyone found driving the vehicle will be treated as a suspect in the crime.
